Getting into different types of student loans
I always thought that a student loan was a student loan. That was of course when my parents were running the show. Now that I have graduated and gotten my bachelors I am on my own in getting my masters education. Turns out that all loans are not created equal and there are definitely better loans to get. I learned quickly that I could get private student loans without cosigner, or I could keep applying for gov sponsored loans that I may or may not get. I opted to go with the private loans because they happened to have a better interest rate than the other loan that was on the table.
