Line up your references early
Who would you ask for a reference. One of the key job tips is preparing your references because you know they are going to ask you for them. If this is your first job, try asking former teachers or club leaders if they would mind recommending you for a job. If you have worked before ask your former supervisor if they would give you a good recommendation for employment. It is always important to ask their permission first. You do not want to surprise them with a phone call and you do not want to be surprised if they feel they can not speak well of you.
