The different skills required for face to face selling and cold calling
Developing the skills to make more sales requires several different skill sets. I was lucky enough to attend a recent sales convention where we were exposed to several different lines of thought. One of the key factors that I brought away from the event was the difference between face to face sales negotiation and telephone conversation. In fact, cold calling was one of the topics I paid particular attention to because the presenter was quite straightforward in presenting a case that indicated the need for the development of a different skill set to capitalize on telephone conversation. I plan to work on this area of personal development.
