Managing Your Asthma

Asthma can be a very scary condition, but can also be easily managed if you get the right treatment and understand a few things about your body.

For me personally, if I watch what I eat, I can manage my asthma reasonably well. One of the foods I know I need to stear clear of is white bread.

If I eat too much white bread, I can pretty much guarantee I’ll start feeling tight across my chest very soon after eating.

Another trigger for me is running outside in cold weather - so on cold days I will either go to the gym, or exercise at home. 

I also use inhalers, but as I get to understand more about how my body works, and what it doesn’t like, I am becoming less dependent on them, and feel much more confident in managing my condition.
