Jewish singles find it harder to meet someone they might marry
It’s just a fact of bein Jewish, Jewish singles are spread out and so young people in the Jewish commun ity find it hard to meet people they might fall in love with and want to marry. This geographic spread was once hard to overcome, and the marriage rates in some isolated communities in Europe, for instance, inthe 1800s was very different to the marriage statistics in cities and regions where Jews were numerous. And once a relationship seems to be ‘going’ somewhere from a distance, Jews can arrange to meet and take the relationship one step closer.
