Solar lights: An Exciting Technology
I like this whole green technology movement. My calculator can run on solar power, so why can’t the rest of my house? That’s an exaggeration, but it’s something I think about sometimes. A large industry in Massachussetts just switched entirely to wind power. And the factories near where I grew up on the east coast still run off electricity from a nearby dam. So it’s not the newest of ideas, but it’s still exciting. Instead of using our nonrenewable resources, we can harness the power of nature to take advantage of what’s already there. It’s bright! It’s clean! It’s Solar Lights!
