Securing your house against the little critters that love to make a home in your attic

Winter is coming, and that means that the critters of the forest are looking for a warm place to spend the cold months.  Sure, a cave or a hollow tree might do the job, but a far better place is the attic of your house.  Wild animals love to live inside attics!  While it may seem cute, it’s not.  They make a lot of noise, and worse, they often destroy ducts, chew on wires, and cause a health risk with their droppings and parasites.  They’re not easy to remove.  You often need to hire professional wildlife removal services to remove them.   Act now, and secure your home before they get a chance to move in!  Be sure to check that all of your attic vents have secure covers in place.  Make sure that your chimney has a steel cap.  Be sure that all eaves are secure, and flush against the roof.  Animals such as squirrels, raccoons, and rats are opportunistic, and will take advantage of any easy openings they find, so be sure that your home is sealed tight and critter-proof before winter arrives!
