We weren’t surprised when he wanted sports gear for his birthday but, when he asked for Air Force One sneakers, we had to do some digging.
None of us had any idea of what those were or where to get them. Our research soon revealed that the Air Force One’s are the popular Nike sneakers worn by celebrity sports figures as well as entertainers.
The sneakers weren’t cheap but we were determined to give our boy the birthday he wanted. Even though two of us had to go in together to get the sneakers, we found them.
It was worth it to see our future NBA start prancing around, showing off his gift.
