I looked into a complaint about Net Nanny
One of my clients asked me to do a Net Nanny Review to see if a problem they were having was unique or just something that Net Nanny doesn’t cover. The problem was with objectionable pictures from sites not blocked. Apparently it is the site text that determines if a site should be blocked. If none of the text contains a filtered word the site come through even if it has sexually explicit pictures on it. I found the situation was not unique and that this wasn’t one of the situations that Net Nanny accounts for. I have notified Net Nanny of this and we will see if they address this issue soon.
