Many people learn to speak Spanish. They may need to learn as a school or work requirement. They may be traveling to a Spanish speaking country. My brother in law is crazy, and when he told me why he learned to speak Spanish, I thought he was joking. He said he always wanted to press the number two for Spanish when he called companies and businesses, and he learned Spanish so he would be able to do so. That’s one of the craziest reasons to learn Spanish. Most people learn for a purpose other than that.
